When You Should Use Server Templates
- Starting Fresh: If you’re setting up a new FiveM server and want to get it up and running quickly, server templates provide a solid foundation with essential scripts and mods already included.
- Lack of Experience: For those who are new to server management or scripting, templates simplify the process by providing pre-configured setups that reduce the complexity of manual installations and configurations.
How To Install FiveM Server Templates Easily
- Load all data from the “resources” folder into your servers “resources” folder.
- Open the .SQL file that is included with an editor / notepad.
- Go to “Search and replace” and replace all “essentialmode” with your database name. It looks like this: “zap-xxx123”.
- Upload the SQL (import).
- Change your Server.cfg to Zaphosting. Only take over the “start” or “ensure” lines that activate the resources.
- Start the server on your FiveM server hosting. Finished!
