Enabling PVP (Player versus Player) in FiveM allows players to engage in combat with one another. But it’s important to note that this feature can be disruptive to roleplay servers and may require additional rules to be enforced by server administrators.
- Open your server’s resources folder and create a new folder called “FriendlyFire.”
- Within the FriendlyFire folder, create a new file called “fxmanifest.lua” and enter the following code:
fx_version 'adamant'
game 'gta5'
client_script 'client.lua'
- Create a new file called “client.lua” in the FriendlyFire folder and enter the following code:
Citizen.CreateThread(function()
while true do
Citizen.Wait(0)
NetworkSetFriendlyFireOption(true)
end
end)
- Save both files and restart your FiveM server.
With these changes in place, friendly fire will be enabled on your server. This will allow players to damage their teammates with weapons and vehicles.
It’s important to note that enabling friendly fire can have unintended consequences and may disrupt roleplay scenarios. As a server administrator, it’s recommended to establish clear rules around friendly fire and monitor player behavior to ensure a positive experience for all players on the server.
